House Tour

Finally a little iPhone photo house tour!  We still have a long way to go.  No photos on the wall.  No bookshelves downstairs.  Still lots of boxes.  But getting closer every day!  I wanted to get the dining room useable for school, and the garage clean enough to fit one car later this week.  Little bits each day, but it's definitely exhausting and overwhelming.

I'm glad we've at least got beds for all the rooms, that was a big accomplishment and I'm so thankful that over the past few years we've been able to find all of our beds (and some of the mattresses!) on Craigslist.  Hopefully our next purchases in the coming months/years will be a big dining table, outdoor patio furniture, and bookshelves!

It will be nice to spend some days in Houston over Christmas to get away from the mess for awhile, but it has been fun slowly fixing everything up. So here are the photos, taken at night in bad lighting with my camera phone.  Hopefully I can get good Canon pics when it's officially "ready" for now and we have our house blessing in January or February!

Welcome to our new home!

From the front yard, with our Christmas wreaths up!

We put a few lights up in the yard, hopefully we'll do a better display next year!

And my old Christmas wreath that I jazzed up a bit!
(Here's how it looked before, blog post from Christmas 2008)

Now this is a house made and bought to host guests, so when are you coming to visit us in person???
