Christmas Showcase 2010

Last Friday the 10th was our 3rd Annual Christmas Showcase. I coordinated solo this year, which I was a little worried about, but everyone stepped up to help out and make it a wonderful evening!

All the children sang "O Come All Ye Faithful" for the introduction.

The K-2 Little Flowers sang "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing."

You might notice my girls are wearing the same dresses they've worn for each of the other 2 Christmas Showcases and the Father/Daughter Dance! Dresses that last for 3 years are a good investment!

Both the girls participated in a little bell choir. I didn't get a photo of Ellie, but here is Mary Clare during her performance.

Steven Joseph went up for "Jingle Bells" with the preschoolers. He was a little nervous about it and cried when I went to get the camera. Mary Clare tried to help.

Both the girls also did some traditional dances, one girl dance and one with partners. They were so cute with the little wreaths on their heads!

The best act of the evening was an impromptu "Joy to the World" with some of the dads! It was a fun evening and helps me remember how blessed we are to have such an active and vibrant homeschooling community.
