Monday Motivation

I really need to catch up with photos from last weekend, but for now I'll focus on planning for this new week.  I am obviously having a hard time with my spiritual goals, along with scheduling dental/medical check-ups!  I need to work on these things!  It looks like we'll be traveling to Houston this weekend, so it'll be a short week.  I'm exhausted from a full weekend with the dance recital and t-ball party, plus a lot of other errands and outings!  Must get to sleep early with this new early morning schedule for swim team practice....

I loved that RC gave us goals in our prayer life but I hate that guilt was added. Please try to remember that each event sent your way in which you pause and pray is part of your prayer life. Don't beat yourself up about it. I remember being prideful about my prayer list and my mom saw it and asked why I was wasting so much time on it. I was shocked because it matched her own list very closely. She pointed out that her list grew and that she no longer had children to raise. God wants out life to be prayer and each moment we spend loving our children is a prayer. Don't forget that. Each loud of laundry, each dish washed, each meal served, each illness cared for all contain our prayers.
