What I Wore Sunday and Chesterton Link-Ups

 What I Wore Sunday linkup

Hey, it's my first WIWS post since the baby was born! Here's to hoping each week allows for a wider wardrobe selection and less-wider midsection! Katie is 3 1/2 weeks and starting to wake up a little more. We're getting to see her eyes more often, and dare I say I've caught a few possibly real smiles?

This morning I wore my favorite Old Navy maternity maxi skirt with a coral colored Target criss-cross tee, and an old turquoise cardigan with turquoise flats also from Target. And of course a cute little accessory by the name of Katherine Maria Grace :)

(Maybe next week I'll use my real camera.  The color and focus are not so great on these iPhone pics!)

Bitty baby is wearing a jumpsuit that was her biggest sister's, and a sweet big flower headband from a friend.

The eyes!  And the lips!  And the little nose!  I can't get enough.

And Daddy even makes an appearance! I love how tiny the babies look next to him.

I'm just enjoying these quiet days with my family, with a few outings to nature club and church.  Tomorrow will be my attempt at a real back to school day.  Please pray for me!  We may celebrate with another church outing for a St. Paddy's Day Mass and Potluck.  Daddy has been acting as Superman...doing all the grocery shopping, lots of the cooking, taking kids on all his errands, and even sprucing up the yard with some landscaping yesterday.  My homeschooling group here is still delivering some meals, too.  I'm soaking in the love.  And feeling very spoiled.  And very grateful.

Weekends with Chesterton: cultivating the intellectual life

I just realized I can also join the G.K. Chesterton link-up over at Sarah's blog with this beautiful quote that our pastor shared during his homily this morning...
"The modern habit of saying, 'Every man has a different philosophy; this is my philosophy and it suits me'--the habit of saying this is mere weak mindedness.  A cosmic philosophy is not constructed to fit a man; a cosmic philosophy is constructed to fit a cosmos. A man can no more possess a private religion than he can possess a private sun and moon."  (from the Book of Job)

That Katherine Maria Grace IS a cute accessory! I want one!

She has a beautiful name, by the way (not to mention a beautiful face). You look wonderful, too. Congratulations on the birth of that precious baby girl.

Your photos of your blessings bring tears to my eyes - Congratulations on the new baby!
Also, I love your sidebar rhyming goals and will now figure out somewhere to save them...maybe in my Quotes folder. :-)
