~Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life~
Every Thursday at Like Mother, Like Daughter

{pretty}
We went to a beautiful First Saturday Mass and brunch at a nearby chapel.  It was our first time to attend mass there with the SOLT community, and it was a beautiful celebration.  This photo was taken after mass.  I delighted in visiting with some of the religious Sisters during brunch.  What a joyful Order!

{happy}
Can you tell what he's holding?
 Happy boy wants to show you his new bike without training wheels!

Off he goes...
We had an enjoyable bike ride on a local trail that ends at the bay.

{funny}
He had some funny falls, usually into the grass.  He's used to a "running bike" without pedals, so he's still figuring it out!  He can be really dramatic these days, with falls and injuries.  I keep telling him the story of The Boy Who Cried Wolf.  Not sure if he understands it quite yet.

{real}
 The end of the trail at the bay.  A really nice ride out there.

They enjoy going on Google Maps and visiting real places all over the globe!  I think this was Russia!

Real life with a toddler who has been climbing the bunk bed for a few months now.

Maybe I can get a real night's sleep tonight.  Tommy has not been sleeping well and I'm exhausted!
Happy Thursday!

My boys all did the pedal free bikes when they were little and it was so easy to transition to no training wheels. Wish we would have had that for Aslynn. ;)

We just got a bike trailer for Louie, so we're enjoying biking now and are finally able to do it as a family. It's a fun thing. It's been so long since I've been on bike rides that I am really enjoying it- especially flying down hills.

We know that chapel well! So glad you are connecting with the SOLT folks. They are a great order and it's too much fun saying SOLT Sista'! :-)
