I'd first like to ask prayers for an out-of-state online friend, Ann Marie. Her 8th living child was born just before Christmas. Little Gianna Caeli was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 prior to birth and the family was able to spend 2 beautiful weeks with her before she went home to Heaven today. Please keep them in prayer.
Tomorrow (Thursday) at 3pm is Steven Joseph's appointment with the pediatric cardiologist. I've kind of been in denial that we have to start talking about this again, but it's starting to hit me. This may well be the year that SJ needs open heart surgery to correct his Atrial Septal Defect. Tomorrow we'll just assess where he's at and then we will probably start to set up appointments for a sedated MRI downtown and meeting with the surgeon. Please keep us in prayer tomorrow. We'd love prayers for complete healing (especially through the intercession of Pope John Paul II), but also acceptance and peace with whatever comes.
Today we had Mary Clare's optometrist appointment. She has very minor farsightedness, so we'll probably go ahead and get some glasses to use for schoolwork and reading. She had to get her eyes dilated which was quite an experience. Hopefully she'll be back to seeing normally tomorrow. Friday is our First Friday class and Saturday is the little birthday celebration. I'm getting a bit overwhelmed with everything this week, stressed about the appointment tomorrow and overwhelmed with the cleaning that needs to be done around the house. So I'd appreciate prayers that I can get some motivation and take care of what needs to be done! Thank you, friends!
