Enjoy your lens - I also just bought one; it's more like the eye sees, I think. Also, the bokeh is nice. :)
The fire pit is so much fun. My hubby and kids cuddle around ours every now and then and make s'mores. It has been such a bonding thing for all of them. They love it.
What lovely pictures. Rosie got a new lens, and now I will have to figure it all out and start coveting one ;)
