Happy St. Valentine's Day!

Mary Clare helped make her candy Valentines and a Valentine box with my mom last night. My parents run an online business called Candy Spirit out of their house. There are always lollipops, life savers, and stickers hanging around...my girls both have a big sweet tooth like their mommy and daddy! My mom printed some stickers to put on lifesavers singles with "Jesus Is Love" on them...so cute, thanks Mom! Mary Clare enjoyed putting them in envelopes and then passing them out at the party.

The Valentine's Party for our Catholic homeschool group was at a park today and VERY cold! High 30s in Texas makes for some very chilly people! Ellie cried almost the whole time :( And I didn't even get any pictures of the ~75 kids there. It was a lot of fun, but I'm looking forward to the next indoor event ;)

And here is a wonderful article about "Real Romance," the thing movies aren't made of...but Saints are! Happy Valentine's Day, friends!

Blair,
This is the first time I've looked at a blog and am so impressed with what you have done. This younger generation are so clever!!! As you know, I love bright colors, so the brighter the yellow the better in my book.
I checked your Jan. listing and loved the photo of Fr. and your comments about this beautiful priest. Love, M

::sigh:: I was glad to get your comment. That's why I felt SOOO horrible. Felicity was *very* excited about the Valentine's party today. This morning Charlie got a flat tire, so I was going to be a little bit late. THEN, I went to the wrong park! So I came home to see which one it was, and by the time I got there, everyone was leaving, Gabrielle was sleeping, and Felicity was just brokenhearted! I felt horrible!
BUT, I'm glad that you guys had a good time...I wish it had been warmer today!!!

What a great turnout for your party. What is your group up there called. We are BACH - Bay Area Catholic Homeschoolers. We had a party today too, but didn't make it, seeing as I am 38.5 weeks pregnant and had an appointment today. Maybe next year!

Happy Valentine's Day!

It was so nice to meet you in real life today, Blair. Hopefully we'll have a warmer day next time we get together!
