One of our outings during our Spring Break last week was a trip to the Houston Zoo. They offer free admission on First Tuesdays after 2:00pm, and even though the weather forecasts were bleak, we were able to enjoy a fun afternoon at the zoo with friends, and NO rain! The kids were thrilled, especially little Thomas who likely doesn't remember his last trip to the zoo almost a year ago when he wasn't really talking yet. His favorite animals were the lions!
