Monday Motivation Review
10 Goals for Mar 12-18
Prayer and Community
1. Focus on our Lenten daily offerings and personal prayer time this week. My girls are protesting the family offerings since they have each given up their own item to sacrifice. I think we'll scratch this idea and make a sacrifice jar these next 3 weeks (putting beans in for sacrifices and filling with candy on Easter)
Mon-No screen time
Tues-No treats
Weds-Daily Mass as a family or read and discuss daily mass readings
Thurs-Learn about a new Saint
Fri-Pray the Stations of the Cross
Sat-Pray a Rosary/St. Patrick's Day dinner
Sun-Nothing-a day of celebration!

2. Continue planning a St. Patrick's Day celebration. A successful dinner party!
3. Plan a mom's night for our homeschool group. Yes! This Thursday!
Health
4. Attend 3 Zumba classes. Went to 2 classes, since I had 2 left on my punch card and will use those this week.
5. Go to bed by 11pm. I think I went to bed by 11 on one night! Most nights I was up until 1 or 2. I'm still adjusting to the time change!
6. Plan weekly meals and serve them. Yes, we went out to dinner on St. Patrick's Day, but ate at home the other nights!
Mon-Baked Potato Soup (Pinterest), Tues-Chicken and rice (maybe this or this), Weds-Breakfast for dinner,
Thurs-salad and pizza, Fri-Ravioli (crockpot) here from Kim), Sat-St. Paddy's Day (plan menu), Sun-grill
Home Management and Homeschool
7. Sort and prepare kid clothes for resale/donate YES!!! After having this on my checklist for weeks, I finally did it!
8. Start one more sewing project on my list (camera case, stockings,
pillow covers, skirts, quilts for kids' beds) and work with girls on their quilts/aprons. No sewing this week.
9. Start getting kids ready for bed at 8:30, lights out at 9pm! I don't think we succeeded at this but wasn't really paying attention. Need to be more attentive to their bedtimes!
10. Read books with the boys once a day, listen to Ellie read, and continue the Civil War and Abraham Lincoln books. I think we did this.
