but was a huge headache requiring lots of repairs!

Matching aprons I made for my mom and aunt,
out of one denim jumper and fabric scraps!
Other crafted gifts...
I made our family out of peg people last week!
SJ pointing to the leaves on the throw pillow I made for Steven's mom,
representing their 30 children, spouses, and grandchildren.
(Idea from Rachel, tutorial at Cluck Cluck Sew)
and some more crafty gifts that have yet to be given!
riding their new scooters at NeNe and PaPa's
Then over to Grampatti and BopBop's!
Cousins playing "Cocktail Party" kid version!
And playing with toys as the night winds down...

Great photos and recap of your Christmas. LOVE the peg family. My kids spent all of last winter coughing, I think. The boys' coughs went on for SO long that I asked the doctor if it was actually asthma. Those coughs like to hang on.
Enjoy relaxing and enjoying those kiddos!
Lots of fun was had by all. I know that I have enoyed the season a little more thanks to all the spiritual growing we went through this year. I felt so close to kelly, Natalia and Linda at Mass the other day. So many Christmas details were forgotten this year and instead a beautiful peace. I point that out because I can see it in your family pictures. May the peace of this season be with you all year!
Great pictures! Those peg people are precious. I love the way your pillow turned out! As I was making mine, I had the idea that it could be a really neat gift for grandparents with lots of kids and grandkids. I just might have to make one for my grandparents next year!
Love your post Blair, esp. your peg family. I really want to make one...but I just can't paint...I have no perception of space at all. Can I hire you to make one for me?
