Made it Through!

What a day! Had to get up before 5, get to the hospital before 7, surgery at 8...then the agonizing wait. They told us it would be 1.5-2hrs but it was more like 3hrs 15mins! Ughh. Then a long while in recovery as she woke up and learned to use her crutches.

Six weeks of crutches and a brace, physical therapy, and limited activity...this should be interesting!

We're home recovering and resting. Thanks so much for your prayers and support. More later...

Glad to hear you all made it through well. Blessings to Mary Clare! Thanks again for coming to play with the kids. They had so much fun--Louis kept talking about it for a couple days.

Yeah! We are so happy that she is home again. I told the kiddos early today to remember you all in prayer. Michaela has been asking all day long. She is so happy that everyone is well. She even got a few coloring books for her friend. I will drop them off in the next day or so. Let me know if you need something. I can get it on my way. Thank Gos she is well!

I'm so glad it went well! But, wow! I never would have thought her recovery would take so long. You'll all be in my continued prayers throughout this journey!

For our dear Mary Clare,
You are such a brave little girl. You did so extremely well on your crutches yesterday. You have suffered alot with your leg and we are all so glad it will be well and hope the reovery pain will be alot less for you than what you have endured these past months. You have an amazing spirit and gentle heart. Sending lots of love to you, Love, Ne Ne and Pa Pa
